Is 45L enough for a bug-out bag?
Yes — 45L is the standard recommendation for a 72-hour bug-out bag. It fits water (2–3 liters plus filter), 3 days of food, a full first aid kit, emergency shelter, extra clothing, and personal tools. It's heavy when fully loaded, but manageable for adults in reasonable fitness.
Is it waterproof?
The Oxford fabric shell is water-resistant and handles rain well. For fully waterproof protection of electronics or important documents inside, we recommend lining your most sensitive items in a dry bag or zip-lock.
Does it work with standard MOLLE pouches?
Yes. The MOLLE webbing is standard-spaced and compatible with any MOLLE-system pouch or attachment. The Field Pouch from our store clips directly onto The Ruck without modification.
